UVCC Competes at Ohio Landscape Olympics

On Oct. 11 & 12 students from the Landscape & Natural Resource program (LNR) traveled to The Ohio State University ATI in Wooster, OH for the 8th Annual Ohio High School Landscape Olympics hosted by the Ohio Green Industry Association.

Over 220 students from 15 different schools competed against each other in 17 different individual/team events for a chance to be the top school and top individuals. Each event is sponsored and judged by industry professionals and we are happy to report that LNR students placed in the top 3 individually in 14 of the 17 events, which lead to a FIRST PLACE team! We are so proud of their hard work and accomplishments.
