UVCC Names Students of the Fourth Quarter
Students of the Quarter
The Upper Valley Career Center has named Bianca Davenport, junior student in Teacher Academy from Houston High School and Hannah Kemker, senior in Cosmetology from Sidney High School as Students of the Quarter for the fourth nine-week grading period. They were selected from a group of twelve students nominated by faculty for the quarter honors.
Nominations for Student of the Quarter are made by career-technical program instructors with attendance, citizenship, leadership, and effort taken into account. In addition, the student's academic instructors are asked to rate each nominee's effort during the nine-week grading period.
Award of Merit
Students earning an Award of Merit designation for Student of the Quarter honors are juniors Tanner Spangler in Cosmetology from Anna High School, Shayne Roller in Electrical Trades from Jackson Center High School, Xander Covington in Robotics and Automation from Troy High School, Haley Studebaker in Early Childhood Education and Care from Troy High School, and Sierra Henning in Exercise Science from Fort Loramie High School. Seniors earning an award of merit are Jordan Boyer in Early Childhood Education and Care from Bradford High School and Adrian Johnson in Interactive Media from Sidney High School.
Honorable Mention
Abigail Skelly, Interactive Media junior from Sidney High School earned an Honorable Mention designation.
