Ten UVCC students participated in the 8th Annual Miami County Science Day at Tippecanoe High School on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Sierra Henning, MaKenna Homan, Olivia Mills, Carman Frey, Tarika Sutter, Abigail Purtee, Brylee Yohey, Brieanna Finfrock, Dani Paulus, and Eve Welborn all received superior ratings for their projects.
Additionally, we had several students win their category or receive a special award. They include:
- Sierra Henning and Makenna Homan won the Premier Health Award in Biomedical & Health Sciences.
- Olivia Mills took the Royal Crest Insurance Award in Biomedical & Health and the Abbott Nutrition I Drive for Continuous Improvement
- Brieanna Finfrock, Dani Paulus, and Eve Welborn won the Shepherd Award for Physics
