We were honored to welcome U.S. representative Warren Davidson to Upper Valley Career Center. His visit was held in conjunction with Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month.
UVCC has two regional and two state SkillsUSA officers within our student body. They took this opportunity to advocate for career tech education by telling their individual stories and highlighting how career tech has impacted their lives and their plans for the future. After a brief tour of several of the updated labs at UVCC, the congressman met the local officers of FFA, FCCLA, and Educators Rising as well.
We thank Congressman Davidson for taking the time to visit our school to not just talk about career tech, but see it in action.
